Carrier leads, Southeast
For truck insurance agents: new trucking authorities the week they are granted, plus renewals worth a call.
If you write truck insurance and work new authorities, this is your weekly call list. GetDataIntel reads the public FMCSA files for you. The New Authority list lands as a spreadsheet: business name, phone from the carrier's own federal filing, city, fleet size, and grant date, one row per carrier. The monthly Renewal Watch list adds established carriers whose policy renewal is 60 to 90 days out, with their current federal safety measures and current insurer on the row. You work the list the day it lands and ask for the quote.

Not for driver recruiters, shippers, or equipment sales. This is an insurance agent's prospecting list, built from carrier filings.

Two lists. One job each.
New Authority, weekly
- Every carrier granted operating authority that week
- Grant date on every row, so you know who is brand new
- Business phone, city, ZIP, and email when the filing has one
- Truck count and driver count for fast sorting
- One row per carrier. Duplicate filings collapsed
Renewal Watch, monthly
- Established carriers, not new grants
- Current federal safety measures from the latest monthly snapshot
- Estimated renewal lands in the next 60 to 90 days
- Current insurer and policy effective date shown
- Built to flag carriers worth a re-quote call
Florida is live first. Georgia and North Carolina come next. Then Tennessee, South Carolina, and Virginia. Alabama, Kentucky, and Mississippi round out the nine-state Southeast set.
What each row carries
- Business Name
- Business Phone
- Email (when filed)
- City and ZIP
- USDOT
- MC Number
- Carrier, Broker, or HHG
- Grant Date
- Trucks
- Drivers
Renewal Watch rows add the safety measure detail from the latest federal snapshot, per measure. They also add insurer, policy effective date, estimated renewal date, and days left to that date.
The phone is the product. Phones come from each carrier's own federal filing. We check the format on every number. We do not claim we called it.
How the lists are built
- 1Pull the federal record.Authority grants, carrier registrations, insurance filings, and safety data from the DOT Data Portal.
- 2Filter to real grants.Only granted authority counts. Reinstatements, suspensions, and system entries stay out.
- 3Clean and collapse. One row per carrier. Phone format checked. Fax numbers rejected as phones.
- 4Ship a file you can work.Spreadsheet and CSV. Frozen header, filters on, newest grants first.
Renewal timing comes from insurance filings. We take the policy effective date and project the yearly anniversary. Filings can change mid-term. The date is an estimate and a reason to call, not a promise about the policy.
The safety signal comes from federal safety measures. Public data publishes measures, not official scores. As the monthly snapshots accumulate, we compare them and flag carriers whose measures improved with none getting worse. That label is ours. The method ships with every file.

Questions
Where does the data come from?
Public FMCSA records on the DOT Data Portal. Authority history, carrier registration, insurance filings, and monthly safety measure files. Every batch states its source dates.
How fresh is the weekly list?
The list is built from the current federal files each week. The goal is grants in your file within five business days of the grant showing in federal records. Each file lists its grant date range on the method note.
What does improving safety mean here?
Federal safety files publish violation measures, not scores. We compare this month to last month. A carrier makes the list when at least one measure went down by a set margin and none went up by that margin. It is a screening label. It is not a federal score and it does not predict a rate.
How is the renewal date picked?
From the carrier's insurance filing. Liability filings count first. A current filing counts over a historical one. The renewal date is the next yearly anniversary of that filing. Mid-term changes can move the real date. Treat it as an estimate.
Are the phone numbers checked?
Format checked, yes. Called, no. Each number must pass a valid format check and must not match the carrier's own fax line. Numbers come from the carrier's federal filing, so some will go stale. Wrong business rows in a paid list get replaced.
Do brokers land on the carrier list?
They are marked as brokers in the file. You can sort them out in one click, or ask for a carriers-only cut.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Plans run month to month. Cancel any time and the lists stop at the end of the paid month.
